Here at Dogheart we are
dog people.
Decisions about training are always made in the best
interest of our dogs. We have created an effective environment
for training by remaining loyal to the cornerstones of our philosophy.
With daily interaction, exercise, obedience and health, your dog
can enjoy more freedom in society.
From basic obedience
to aggression issues,
we inspire respectful,
effective ways to manage
your dog’s behaviors.
Obedience by our standards means that dogs are
under verbal control and respond to practical concepts like, “No
bark,” “Stay home,” and “Come,”
as well as a variety of casual directional commands. Obedience
also means that dogs are well-socialized, comfortable and displaying
good manners. By the time you complete a training schedule with
us, you will be fluent in the language your dog understands and
responds to – one based on mutual respect.

INITIAL EVALUATION $130
We begin all of our training relationships with an initial
evaluation. This is necessary so that we understand the issues
that you are currently having, along with any environmental concerns
that might be affecting your dog's behavior.
This 90-minute session introduces a qualified trainer to your
dog in your home environment, which allows you the opportunity
to address concerns about real-life habits and routines as they
occur. You will be introduced to our methodology, see a demonstration
of its application, and be involved in devising a training strategy
specific to your dog and your individual situation.
In addition to our initial evaluation, we offer more targeted
evaluations (to read more about each of these evaluations, click
here).

ADVANCED TRAINING $90/hour
At Dogheart, we refer to advanced training as routines with an
“intended purpose.” Whether it is pulling a cart full
of newspapers for the paper carrier or bringing you the cordless
while you’re mowing the grass, your dog’s activity
can benefit both of you. Customized to advance your personal goals
and respect your dog’s innate desire to work, our advanced
training command structure always begins with “Heel,”
“Down” and extended “Down and Stay.” |
