Whether or not you are in need
of an evaluation or continued training we offer a phone or email
consultation service that is available to everyone. Over the years
we have amassed a large body of knowledge that spans many areas
of dog behavior and related issues, including: nutrition, specialty
training, traveling and unique behaviors.
We can provide you with experiential feedback
that may help you over a hurdle and enhance your harmony with
your dog. Our mission is to help as many dogs as we can, so when
you are in need, we look forward to hearing from you.

Whatever issues arise with your dog, sometimes it is just helpful
to have someone to talk to. We welcome the general public to utilize
our phone/email support services for advice on any and all questions
regarding dogs. When we can't meet you and your dog in person,
whether you live far away or time is limited, we can still offer
counseling that points you in the right direction with your dog.

AGGRESSION CONSULTATION
$150/hr; $75/half-hour
First and foremost, it is important to learn about an
aggressive dog’s history and temperament. What is motivating
or triggering this behavior? We can help you to identify this
trigger via phone or in-person consultations, so that you can
affect change and determine the best approach for communicating
with the dog.

NUTRITION CONSULTATION
$90/hr; $45/half-hour
Nutrition is an essential ingredient in our training methodology. A healthy diet plays a big role in a dog's ability to be focused and relaxed, which in turn makes for better training. At Dogheart, we enjoy counseling our clients about the best ways to keep their dog in shape. We encourage the use of fresh foods and can teach recipes for our dogs' favorite, hearty homemade mixes.

PRE-OWNER CONSULTATION
$90/hr; $45/half-hour
Our trainers can prepare you as you become a new owner or expand
your family with an additional dog. We will educate you on breed
characteristics and assist you in budgeting time, resources and
expectations for this responsibility.
